Deconstructing Jamie
It's beyond my control.
Right now I can not stop looking at the image below.
I have it everywhere. I'll tell you why.
The tour starts with this black and white portrait of Sam Heughan.

This face is Everything.
~
So many beautiful places of skin and hair and bone on this man's face. Each and every one an erotic story all by itself. That beautiful straight nose, those brows that lead us up that luscious forehead, the 'i touch myself' jaw and cheek bone, those exquisite delicate eyelashes. Sexy Butterfly Kisses... *splashes ice water on face... ahem...
Our tour today covers what, in my opinion, and the only one that matters here in Yummy Sammy Land, are the top 3 most beautiful places to explore in this photograph. Hands and Chin and Lips.
~
Hands yes.
~
Fingers and Knuckles and Nails and Veins. It's erotic that his hands look like working hands. He hikes and climbs and lifts and trains so his hands, in this image, reflect that. Sexy Working Hands. Another thing that draws me is that 'J' shape from the top of the fore finger down and up to the thumb tip. His middle finger (like all the rest) thick at the bases then extend to the delicate tips. Yes I said delicate. In his role as Jamie when he is working with the horses and you can see his hands on them, its Rewind Time in my house. Sexy Cowboy Hands. If I ever find an image of him holding rappelling gear. Sexy Grippy Hands. Believe it.
Every live interview I watch those hands. And other things.
Aye, I am a freak. Deal.
~
Lips. I'll take two.
~
I've had all kinds of lips in my nearly 60 years, hey someone has been kissing me since day one. I have an extensive collection of kisses. There are two Particular Favorites when it comes to mouths and the kisses held in trust. Wide and Straight and a defined but soft angels finger print. He, FFS, has both of those attributes. The story goes, that in our mother's wombs, an angel (Fae) gives us all the Knowledge of the Universe, but when you are born that angel pinches your lips together and you forget Everything. So now you have a dent. Some are deep, or wide, or whatever genetics said to do. Sam has a soft one, the tops of the bow are not very pointed. The angel (Fae) didn't press as hard and let him keep a little magic.
Cute story that.
I like Sams dent.
~
I forgot his chin you say? No, there it is with his finger tips on it from the bottom, that wee bit'o soul patch is on it from the top. Happy fucking chin aye?
You know it.
~
This concludes our mini tour of Sam's face. Other area's of Sam's person are in production.
Deconstructing Jamie happened when I looked beyond the role Sam was playing when I met him. His stage work is exciting and I would love to see him do more. He is so funny and humble and well, Everything. OMG, please let him do SNL.
I adore Jamie Fraser but I fell completely in love with Sam Hueghan.
It's beyond my control. From a wiki somewhere in the void regarding the 'dent': "The human philtrum, bordered by ridges, also is known as the infranasal depression, but has no apparent function." No apparent function you say? No apparent function except to drive me insane. I got your 'no apparent function right here pal!!!
I'm looking for the perp who took the photo so I can give credit.
You are here.
I've recently (7/16) become a fan of the book Outlander written by Diana Gabaldon. Fan is such a short word for what happened to me when I read the books. I fell through a hole in time with the heroine of the story Claire. Diana has made me, through her words, a captive of Scotland and it's beautiful, dangerous, and compelling history. I'm locked up tight there with Jamie and the Jacobite's. I can't help myself. It's beyond my control. I live in the 21st century but my heart resides in the 18
th century with the Highland Warriors. Enjoy my blog, a homage to Outlander.

Sam and Sex and Murtagh too.
Readers of the books know and feel and (like me, don't lie) cull fodder for our dreams from the sex scenes in Outlander. We see two beautiful actors bringing to life the dynamic relationship between the two main characters, Jamie and Claire. It's stunning and provocative and for most of the Outlandrians (men 'and' women) it's just plain good yummy sex. I guess being an older broad I see the sex and I am aroused (who of you will lie and say 'eww I don't do that..) to the point that I have rewound and re-watched to catch every damn piece of skin the actors are showing me.
Now setting aside the soft porn aspect, what I am really deeply attracted to is that this is not only what happens in bed (or bush or field or floor...) for these two characters, it's a commitment, a promise from the deepest cellular level that each and the other is the anchor of their existences. It's a love that can only exist in the world we see and feel in Outlander. I love my husband but like most men in my generation, they have no clue about the women. They do ok but on a cellular level they struggle sometimes. Just like Sam probably does in his relationships :)
Now we come to the character of Murtagh played by Duncan Lecroix. To be honest, Sam and Cait are stunning in the sex scenes but, Duncans character Murtagh is Still Waters to me and that has always turned my head more. Still waters people!
